Burger restaurant games are a small genre with a very clear idea: you run the counter, every customer wants something a little different, and you're rewarded for speed and getting it exactly right. Here are seven games with that feel, from free browser games to bigger PC and console titles. We made the first one, so we've put it first, and we've tried to be fair about the rest.
| Game | Where to play | Price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Grillionaire | Browser (phone, tablet, computer) | Free | Hands-on burger building with a story |
| Burger Shop | iPhone, iPad, Android; originally PC | Free and paid versions | Fast burger assembly from a conveyor |
| Cooking Fever | iPhone, iPad, Android | Free, with in-app purchases | Many restaurants, starting with fast food |
| Good Pizza, Great Pizza | Mobile, Switch, PC | Free on mobile, paid on PC and Switch | Reading customers' odd orders |
| Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! | PC, Switch, Xbox, PlayStation | Paid | Keyboard-speed cooking with hundreds of foods |
| Overcooked! 2 | PC, Switch, Xbox, PlayStation | Paid | Chaotic co-op kitchens with friends |

1. Grillionaire

Grillionaire is our own free burger restaurant game, and the closest to the Papa's loop on this list. Customers hand you a ticket; you drag a patty onto the grill, flip it when the ring turns green, stack the bun, cheese and toppings in order, squirt the sauce and hand the burger over. Each burger is scored for order, cooking, neatness and sauce, and good burgers in a row build a tip combo.
What's different: it's 3D, it starts with an animated story (you lose your job and buy a rusty street cart with your uncle's help), and the goal is to save $25,000 for the restaurant across the street. There are 17 unlocks, 18 upgrades, rainy days, a food critic and street fairs. It runs in your browser on phones and computers with no download or sign-up.
Play it if: you want the same order-cook-stack-serve rhythm for free, right now, on any device.
2. Burger Shop
A burger classic from GoBit Games that started on PC and later came to iPhone, iPad and Android. A machine produces ingredients on a conveyor and you click them together to match orders as fast as you can. It's more about speed and memory than cooking, with a long story mode and a relaxed mode.
Play it if: you liked the "build to order" part most and want something quick and arcade-like.
3. Cooking Fever
Nordcurrent's long-running mobile cooking game. You begin at a fast food court making burgers and fries, then unlock many other restaurants. Tapping is quick and simple, and there's a lot of content. It's free to play with in-app purchases and needs an internet connection.
Play it if: you want a big mobile cooking game and don't mind its free-to-play economy.
4. Good Pizza, Great Pizza
Not burgers, but the same spirit: customers come to your counter with requests, some of them riddles, and you build each pizza by hand. It has a gentle story with recurring characters. Free on mobile; the PC and Switch versions are paid with no in-app purchases.
Play it if: you liked the customers and their personalities as much as the cooking.
5. Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?!
A fast, demanding restaurant game by Vertigo Gaming, played from a food truck. Every dish is a short sequence of keyboard or controller inputs, and there are hundreds of foods to learn. It has local co-op. Paid, on PC and consoles.
Play it if: Papa's started to feel easy and you want a real challenge.
6. Overcooked! 2
A co-op kitchen game where up to four players chop, cook and serve in kitchens that move, split and catch fire. Burgers are one of its recipes. It's best with friends on the couch or online. Paid, on PC and consoles.
Play it if: you want to cook together, and laugh when it all goes wrong.
7. Cooking Simulator
A first-person, physics-based restaurant kitchen from Big Cheese Studio. You really chop, fry and plate each ingredient, and the game rewards following recipes carefully. Slower and more realistic than the others. Paid, on PC, consoles and Android.
Play it if: you want cooking to feel real rather than arcade-like.
How we picked
Every game here has customers with orders, cooking you do yourself, and a score or reward for getting it right, which is what makes the Papa's games fun. We left out pure "tycoon" games where you only manage staff, and we only list games you can still get today. Prices and platforms change, so check each store before you buy.
Papa's Burgeria is a game by Flipline Studios. ZoomyGames is not connected to Flipline Studios or to any of the other games on this list.
