About Crowdalot

Crowdalot is a free 3D crowd runner game you can play online, right in your browser. You start with one little runner in a crown. Steer through the glowing gates on the track and your crowd grows: +20 adds twenty people, ×3 triples everyone. Pick the wrong gate and it shrinks: −15 takes fifteen away and ÷2 cuts your crowd in half. Every pair of gates is a quick sum, and the bigger number is not always the one that looks bigger.

Your crowd is real: every runner on the screen is a little person with their own face, hair and team cap, and hundreds of them can run with you at once. Grey wanderers on the track join your crowd when you touch them. Red rival crowds wait on the road, and when you crash into them it's one of yours for one of theirs, so bring more people than they have. Spinning bars, rolling saws, swinging hammers, spiked rollers, pop-up spikes, cannons, walls with a narrow gap, holes and thin bridges all try to knock your runners off the track.

Every level ends with a finale. Build a human tower and climb the rainbow stairs for a coin multiplier up to ×5, storm a castle gate guarded by a red army, or face a boss. The monster kings are the best part: King Grubnose the goblin, Lord Rattlebones, the Big Bad Howler, Yeti Frostfang, Count Groanalot and Mount Grumblebelly. Your crowd leaps at the boss, and when the red danger zone appears on the ground, steer out of it before the slam lands.

Win coins and spend them on upgrades on the start screen: start with a bigger crowd, earn more coins and hit bosses harder. Pick hats and team colours in the Wardrobe, from a party hat to a royal crown. There are 60 levels across six kingdoms (sunny meadows, a dusty desert, autumn woods, frosty peaks, a spooky hollow and lava lands), and then endless levels that get harder every time. It plays on phones, tablets and computers with nothing to download.

Tips for Crowdalot

  • Do the sum

Look at both gates before you choose. A plus gate often beats a multiplier when your crowd is small.

  • Collect the grey folks

Grey wanderers join you when you run into them. They're free people!

  • Upgrade Bigger start early

Starting with 5 people instead of 1 makes every multiplier gate worth much more.

  • Keep away from the edges

Holes and narrow bridges knock off the people on the outside of your crowd. Steer into the middle of the floor.

  • Dodge the red zones

In boss fights, move your crowd out of the red circle the moment it appears.

Frequently asked questions

Is Crowdalot free?

Yes. Crowdalot is a free crowd runner game that plays in your browser. There's nothing to download, no account to make and nothing to buy: every upgrade, hat and colour is bought with coins you win in the game.

What is a crowd runner game?

In a crowd runner game you lead a group of people down a track. Gates with numbers make the group bigger or smaller, obstacles and rival crowds take people away, and the size of your crowd at the end decides how well you do. Crowdalot adds six kingdoms, boss fights you have to dodge, castle sieges, a human tower climb and a wardrobe of hats.

Can I play Crowdalot on my phone?

Yes. Put your finger anywhere on the screen and drag left or right to steer. It works held upright or sideways, on phones and tablets as well as on computers with a mouse or keyboard.

How do I beat the bosses?

Arrive with a big crowd: every runner who jumps at the boss takes away a bit of its health. When a red circle or a red zone appears on the ground, drag your crowd out of it before the boss slams. The Stronger hits upgrade makes every jump count for more.

Which gate should I pick?

Do the sum. Multipliers are best when your crowd is already big, while a plus gate can be better when it's small: ×2 on 8 is 16, but +15 is 23. When both gates hurt, pick the smaller loss: −10 is better than ÷2 if you have more than 20 runners.

Is Crowdalot OK for kids?

Yes. It's a cartoon game with cute characters, no chat and nothing to buy. Runners who get knocked out just vanish in a splash of paint. The gates are a fun way to practise adding, taking away, multiplying and dividing.

Does Crowdalot save my progress?

Yes. Your level, coins, upgrades, hats and colours save automatically in the browser you play in, so you can stop any time and carry on later. Clearing your browser data resets the game.
